![]() It's a fantastic secondary in brutality builds and good even in tactics. If you're talking about the assault bow then it's a very fast bow with high damage crits for a bow. I assume you're talking about the marksman bow, the problem is it's extremely slow to use and has to be used at range which isn't always ideal. Has damage reduction, which is the best stat on a shield anyway, beside that pushing people off ledges can be useful at times on top of it just being pretty fun to use. Isn't the highest damage shield, the spiked shield is by far, also it does good damage to mobs by just holding it up which is why it's C. There are very, very few situations where neither is viable as your off-hand weapon. Damage is much higher than the DPS estimates plus it has utility for pulling things off cliffs and has light CC.Īssault Shield and Hokotu's Bow: S tier, without a doubt. Also, they do a bunch of damage too, I guess and the ice one is a 2-in-1 utility because it acts as a slightly worse freezing arrow if you quickly tap the attack button. Its nearly impossible to make a tier list that satisfies every build combo, but i tried to do weapons that are so good that I would use them over all others at the top, and then work my way down from there. Obviously there's no right answer to this, the game can be beat with any weapon pretty easily (on 0BC at least). So when you actually put everything in perspective, replaying 40m of content so easy a small child can do it, just to farm cells and hopefully get gear that enables you to beat a boss that is purposefully tuned beyond the norm of the game, is rather poor design.Ĭompared to something that leans heavily towards required skill instead of obtained gear + stat abuse, I just do not see the purpose of the current HOTK. ![]() To top all of that off, most of the people who have cleared have been sectioning and duplicating their saves to enable them to fight the Hotk without replaying from the cell. Scaling of castle + hotk is a joke that was artificially made hard just because it is the end of the current game design. You can, like you said, literally breeze through the the game without much challenge after you get basic enemy knowledge in your grasp. ![]() I have been playing the game for a long time now and although the game is quite fun, I have never felt the crispness of balance in anything past the 2nd boss. The HP of the enemies and their damage output is so exponentially higher than previous levels that it is literal jokes. I agree, the castle itself has scale issues as well, but the level is still a breeze to clear depending on how much you choose to fight. ![]()
